Radio City celebrates Children’s Day

Staff Reporter

COIMBATORE: Radio City 91.1 FM organised a special programme in connection with Children’s Day. The ‘Whatte Fun’ Children’s Day celebration comprised a ‘super chutti contest,’ a search for the naughtiest child in Coimbatore. Over 15 families joined Radio Jockey (RJ) Viji, hosting the programme, Whatte Fun Mornings, Martina of Love Beat, Praveen of City Spice and Kumar of Sunday Tiffin at the Radio City office.

After three fun-filled rounds, P. Nivetha from Gandhipark was crowned Coimbatore Radio City 91.1FM’s ‘super chutti.’ She won a ‘Whatte Fun’ hamper of goodies. All participants were given gifts and chocolates. They also interacted with the team at Radio City.

The ‘super chutti’ contest comprised three rounds – the Radio City RJ’s Pola round where the children had to imitate their favourite Radio City RJs, Super Singer, where the contestants had to sing their favourite songs and the Super Galatta round where they had to switch roles with their parents and act like them in the set of situations given by the judges.
