Eye screening camp conducted

CHENNAI: An eye screening camp was recently held for students in connection with World Diabetes Day and Children’s Day at the Indira Eye Institute for Diabetes, a unit of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, Gopalapuram. Class IX student of the Ganapathy Iyer Girls’ High School participated. Rema Mohan, chief ophthalmologist and managing director of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre, spoke. Geetha and Rajalakshmi consultant ophthalmologists, spoke on eye hygiene, infections and injuries in children and eye complications in diabetes.
