KOCHI: The functioning of the Kochi Corporation will be affected on Monday as the United Democratic Front workers has decided to lay siege to the office from 6 a.m. on Monday. Workers will not let any one into the office, said A.B. Sabu, leader of the UDF in the Kochi Corporation. The agitators want the resignation of the Kochi Mayor in the wake of the observations of the Kerala High Court against the civic body for its failure to repair the roads and remove the garbage from the streets, he said. The KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala will inaugurate the agitation at 10.30 a.m. The agitation will end at 2 p.m.
