Man arrested for assaulting minor girl

NEW DELHI: A 23-year-old man has been arrested on charges of criminally assaulting a minor girl at Burari here on Saturday.

The incident took place when the nine-year-old girl’s mother was out for some work. Finding her alone, the accused, who is a neighbour of the victim, forced himself on her. The girl later narrated the incident to her mother, who called in the police.

The police have registered a case and arrested the accused,
