Businessman jumps to death

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old businessman allegedly jumped to his death from the sixth floor of the District Centre at Janakpuri here on Sunday. No suicide note was found.

The incident took place around 2 p.m. when Karan Jain, a resident of Ashok Vihar Phase-I, jumped from the sixth floor of Vishwa Sadan Tower. He was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

The police found that Karan was under tremendous stress for the past few months as he had suffered financial losses in running a factory unit. Inquest proceedings into his death have been initiated.
