School games logo launched

KOCHI: The logo of the 54th National School Games was launched here on Sunday by Minister for Education M.A. Baby.

The National School Games will be held from January 7 to 11 next year at the Maharaja’s College grounds here. More than 2,000 students from across India will participate in it.

A press statement from the organisers said that Kerala had been the champion in the National School Games over the last 11 years and that Kerala hosting the 54th Games had great significance. The last time Kerala hosted the National School Games was in 2000.

A meeting held at SRV High School on Sunday reviewed the preparations for the games.
