Delhi BSP secretary joins Congress

NEW DELHI: Delhi Bahujan Samaj Party secretary Thayyab Hussain along with his supporters joined the Congress on Sunday in the presence of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief J. P. Agarwal.

In a statement, Mr. Hussain said the BSP in the name of Dalits and minorities was feathering its own nest without doing anything to uplift people from the weaker sections of society. He said the Congress was the only party that had the welfare of the Dalits and minorities at heart.
