Wanted SP candidate arrested

Betul (M.P.): Sanjay Satankar, a Samajwadi Party candidate in the Amla Assembly constituency, wanted in a murder case, has been arrested after he was overpowered by blacksmiths whom he had allegedly threatened in the Katol area in Maharashtra, the police said.

He was wanted in connection with the murder of a woman in 2006. — PTI
