Two held on charge of vehicle theft

BANGALORE: Two persons were arrested by the police on the charge of stealing vehicles. The police gave their names as Dileep and Rajesh. Four motorcycles were recovered from them.

Dileep, a college dropout, had rented out several buildings and houses while his father was into cable TV business. But Dileep allegedly stole several two-wheelers along with Rajesh in Koramangala and HSR Layout, the police said.They were caught while they were allegedly fleeing on a stolen vehicle.

Robbed

A software engineer was robbed on 5th Main Road, Koramangala, on Friday.

Two men in an autorickshaw attacked Ruchi Nihlani, a Wipro employee, and snatched her bag. They threatened to kill her if she complained to the police.

Ms. Nihlani was robbed of her digital camera and Rs. 1,500 in cash.
