Teams arrive in Indore

Indore: It was a day of optional nets for the Indian cricketers after they, along with the England team, arrived here by a chartered flight from Rajkot in the afternoon for Monday’s game. Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, watched by coach Gary Kirsten and fielding coach Robin Singh, trained at the Usha Raje Stadium here on Saturday evening while the England players opted for rest. Meanwhile there is no official word yet on the injury-status of Ishant Sharma and Yuvraj Singh. A thick security blanket around the venue kept fans at bay. — Principal Correspondent
