Vatal slams Government

BANGALORE: Known for his novel way of protests on various issues, Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha president Vatal Nagaraj on Friday held yet another protest; this time against power shortage in the State. He marched along with his followers holding gas lights in the precincts of Vidhana Soudha. Mr. Nagaraj said the State was dunked in darkness and the Government did not have a clue about the difficulties the people faced. The BJP, which came to power on the promise of giving free power to farmers, has neglected the power sector. He said the State would lose out on attracting investments if this situation continued.
