YSR’s assurance to village servants

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday assured leaders of the AP Gramsevakula Sangham (village servants’ association) that steps would be taken within a week to increase their salary to Rs. 3,600.

D. Rajalingam, president, in a statement said the leaders also represented to Dr. Reddy seeking extension of PRC scales, doubling of DA to Rs.100 and filling of vacant posts. – Special Correspondent
