One killed in van-bus collision

VANIYAMBADI: The driver of a courier service van was crushed to death when the vehicle collided with a private town bus at Bharathi Nagar in Kalandhara near Vaniyambadi on Saturday. Twenty one persons on the bus, including the driver, were injured.

According to the police, the van was proceeding to Chennai from Coimbatore. It collided with a private town bus proceeding to Tirupattur from Vaniyambadi at Bharathi Nagar. Van driver Kumar (30) was crushed to death.
