CHENNAI: The total number of students arrested in connection with the clash at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College went up to eight with the police taking into custody Chithirai Selvan.

According to police, Selvan, who is now admitted to Royapettah Hospital, was also involved in the clash. He was shifted to the prisoners’ ward.
