T.S. Subramanian
CHENNAI: “This is ISRO’s gift to the children of India on the occasion of Children’s Day,” said M. Annadurai, Project Director, Chandrayaan-1, when the Moon Impact Probe (MIP) crash-landed on the Moon at 8.31 p.m. IST on Friday.
Mr. Annadurai said the Chandrayaan-1 team “has lived up to the country’s expectations” and added: “we are over the moon.”
