Shailendra bags double
GURGAON: Shailendra Boniface captured a double crown as he won the under-12 boys singles and doubles titles in the AITA National series junior tennis tournament at the NTA Complex here on Friday.
The under-12 girls’ singles final is scheduled to be played between Roma Chandran and Amreen Sheikh on Saturday.
The results (finals):
Under-12 boys: Shailendra Boniface bt Tejas Kapoor 6-0, 6-2; Doubles: Shailendra Boniface and Lalahmachhuana bt Prateek Alkesh and Tejas Kapoor 6-1, 6-1.
Under-12 girls doubles: Amreen Sheikh and Devanshi Bhimjiyani bt Prabhuti Singhania and Ria Vardhan 6-1, 6-2.
