Patna: The state vigilance sleuths on Friday arrested the branch manager of Central Bihar Regional Rural Bank and officiating Station House Officer of Sonki for allegedly taking bribe. Additional Director General (Vigilance) Neelmani said a trap was laid following complaints by deputy panchayat president of Bihta Doman Singh and another person Ram Kumar Singh that the bank manager of Salimpur branch in rural Patna, Lallan Sharma, was demanding a bribe of Rs.3,000 for issuing Kisan credit cards in their names and caught the manager red handed from his S K Puri residence here.
