Seminar on global recession

DAVANGERE: The district chamber of commerce and industry and the ICFAI institute have jointly organised a one-day seminar on the ‘Impact of the global recession on the share markets and on the Davangere economy’ on Sunday. Andanur Kotrabasappa, secretary of the chamber, and Chandan Chavadi and Kavitha, faculty members of ICFAI, told presspersons here on Friday that Gopalakrishnan, adviser to various banks; Veerabhadrappa, former Reserve Bank of India official and R.S. Nagabhushan, trader, would present papers.
