KADAPA: Farmers carrying pesticide cans staged dharna before the Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank at Brahmamgari Matham alleging that the branch manager is negligent in granting loans to them. They mobbed the branch manager in the bank and threatened to commit suicide by consuming pesticide. B. Matham SI, Nizamuddin, intervened and pacified the farmers to give up their attempt. Later the ryots staged dharna alleging that farmers whose loans were renewed were not being given fresh loans.
