Gauri rallies
BANGALORE: A resurgent Gauri Monda of Delhi Golf Club carded a superb par 69 to wrest back the lead in the gold division of the South India ladies’ amateur golf championship at Bangalore Golf Club course here on Thursday.
The results (third round; top three): Gold division (handicap 0-12): 1. Gauri Monga 218 (70, 79, 69); 2. Gurbani Singh 222 (76, 74, 72); 3. Mehar Atwal 225 (73, 76, 76). Silver division: 1. Renuka Phillip 249 (81, 84, 84); 2. Shiraz Singh 257 (88, 83, 86); 3. Vrinda Yadav 261 (88, 86, 87).
Bronze division: Sharadha S. Rao 296 (93, 99, 104); 2. Tuesa Malik 302 (110, 90, 95); 3. Gomathi Rajaram 302 (102, 102, 98).
