Sneha sparkles

VIJAYAWADA: Sneha Prasanna’s unbeaten 94 helped Karnataka score a five-wicket win over Bengal in the all-India inter-State (u-19) women’s one-day league tournament at Anantapur, according information received here on Thursday.

The scores:

Bengal 223 for six in 50 overs (Paromita Roy 61 not out, Madhumanti 45) lost to Karnataka 224 for five in 46.1 overs (Sneha Prasanna 94 not out, Vanitha 42, Neha Maji three for 44).

UP 161 for eight in 50 overs (Nishita Pharasi 38) bt Maharashtra 83 in 43.3 overs (Poonam Yadav three for 10).
