Employment exchange to offer bank examination coaching class

Special Correspondent

KARAIKAL: Going beyond its role as a directory of employment opportunities for the youth, the District Employment Exchange at Karaikal will coach 100 students appearing for a bank officers’ recruitment examination.

One hundred candidates out of 191 who wrote the screening test for the 45-day coaching class will receive training to beat the Officers Scale-1 and cashier-cum-clerk recruitment exam at the Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank.

Classes till December 6

The classes commenced on November 6 and December 19 by Indian Bank senior official R. Sagayam Franc and V.O.C Government Higher Secondary School Principal G. Natarajan.

The classes follow the intensive coaching given last year for aspirants to the State Bank of India clerk examination in which 21 students were successful.
