Exploit your inherent talent, official tells students

Well done : Collector V.K. Shanmugam giving away a prize to a schoolgirl in Krishnagiri on Thursday.
KRISHNAGIRI: School children should strive hard to improve their inherent talents, Chief Educational Officer M. Baskaran advised the students.
Mr. Baskaran, in his felicitation speech at the Childens Day function and drawing exhibition at the Government Museum in Krishnagiri on Thursday, asked the students to use their talents fully to come up in life and achieve their goals.
All the children are talented and everybody should try to grab the prizes in competitions. He said that it does not mean that only prize winners are talented. He also advised the children never to give up and participate in the competitions without hesitation in future, Mr. Baskaran added.
District Collector V.K. Shanmugam gave away prizes to 20 children in various groups who had participated in drawing and oratorical competitions conducted by the museum authorities in Krishnagiri.
R.T. Tulasibrinda welcomed the gathering. UNICEF Coordinator P. Ganeshamurthy, Dharmapuri Tirukkural Peravai president M. Nageswaran spoke.
Museum Friends Committee Secretary M. Panneer Selvam proposed vote of thanks.
