Maha annabhishekam

ARIYALUR: A large number of devotees and tourists from foreign countries, witnessed the ‘Maha annabhishekam’ at the Chola-built temple dedicated to Sri Brahadeeswarar in Gangaikondacholapuram on Wednesday. About 108 bags of rice was used for adorning the giant ‘lingam’ of Sri Brahadeeswarar with the holy ‘annam’.
