Police Commissioner shifted

CHENNAI: A day after the clash between students of two communities on the Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College campus here, the Government issued orders shifting Commissioner of Police R. Sekar and top officials in the north zone.

Additional Director General of Police (Civil Supplies CID), K. Radhakrishnan, has been posted as the new Commissioner of Police and A.K. Viswanathan, Joint Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption as Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Chennai Police.
