Jalandhar: A three-year-old girl, who was reported missing from Saturday, has been kidnapped as her parents received a ransom call, police said on Wednesday. “I got a ransom call from one Sikander Yadav yesterday who demanded Rs. 10 lakh as ransom to release my daughter Swati,” the father said. Swati was playing outside her house on Saturday evening. When she did not return till late, her parents reported the matter to police. During investigations it came to light that the kidnapper’s call was from Bihar. A special team has been dispatched to the State, police sources added.
