Kalady HSS advances

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kalady HSS, Manaracaud and GHSS, Wayanad entered the quarterfinals of the KCA all-Kerala inter-school cricket tournament here on Tuesday.

Kalady HSS defeated St.Joseph HSS, Karimanoor by seven wickets while GHSS Wayanad scored a 77-run win over PDHSS, Alappuzha in the pre-quarterfinals.

The scores: St. Joseph HSS, Karimanoor 75 in 21.5 overs (Jithesh five for 17) lost to Kalady HSS, Manarcaud 76 for three in 11.4 overs (Vinod 31)

GHSS, Wayanad 167 for seven in 30 overs (Sreedev 79 no) bt PDHSS, Alp 90 in 20.4overs (Junaidv four for 26, Sreedev three for seven)

Kristhuraj HSS, Klm 127 in 20 overs (V.K. Rahees three for 22) bt GVHS, Meenchantha 34 in 10 overs (Jackson three for 9, Nandu Raj three for 11)

CIHSS, Kasaragod 73 in 24.5 overs (P.M. Arjun three for 19) lost to SRKGVMHSS, Thrissur 77 for one in 20.3 overs (Arjun 30 n.o)
