Diagnostic lab for Secretariat staff

HYDERABAD: A modern laboratory, equipped with state-of-art equipment, which will offer diagnostic services to the 6,000-odd employees in the Secretariat, was opened on the premises as part of the existing dispensary.

A semi-automatic analyser (cost Rs 2.5 lakh) and a portal ( http://www.gcds.ap.gov.in) that provides information on medical reimbursement to the staff and list of government-recognised hospitals, was inaugurated by Vaidya Vidhana Parishad Minister V. Venkateswara Rao. The lab would be provided an annual budget of Rs. 60 lakh.
