TDP MLA joins Praja Rajyam

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam legislator from Pathapatnam in Srikakulam district, Kalamati Ramamohan Rao, joined the Praja Rajyam on Tuesday.

At a press conference, the new entrant was introduced to the media by Gorle Hari Babu, MLC and former Minister in the TDP regime, T. Seetharam.

Mr. Rao said, he felt disillusioned with the TDP after being in the party for so many years. He said he was convinced that real social justice was possible only through a party like Praja Rajyam headed by K. Chiranjeevi. Mere lip sympathy would mean nothing unless firm steps were taken to recognise the existence of leadership in other communities and sections of society, he said.

“As with most leaders, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy too is afraid of the tremendous response to his ‘Praja Ankitha Yatra’, Mr Seetharam said and added that the PR would emerge as the much spoken about ‘Third Alternative’.
