Chandigarh: The Punjab Government declared holiday for the second half of the day on Tuesday in all its office/ board and corporations and its education institutes located in Chandigarh and Mohali to enable its employees to participate in Nagar Kirtan on the eve of birthday of Guru Nanak Dev. According to an official spokesman, Punjab government offices, boards and corporations and educations institutes located in other parts of Punjab would observe half day holiday for the second half of the day on Wednesday.
