Easy for IOCL ‘A’
Chennai: Rohan Bopanna and Sunil Kumar registered comprehensive wins over H. Ali and Vivek Bramana respectively, to enable IOCL ‘A’ defeat OIL ‘B’ 2-0, in the quarterfinals of the team event of the PSPB inter-unit tennis tournament at the SDAT Nungambakkam Stadium on Monday.
The results: Men’s team event: Quarterfinals: IOCL ‘A’ bt OIL ‘B’ 2-0 (Rohan Bopanna bt H. Ali 6-1, 6-1; Sunil Kumar bt Vivek Bramana 6-0, 6-0). ONGC bt EIL 2-0 (Vijay Kannan bt H.C. Khurana 6-1, 2-2 (conceded); Vinod Sridhar bt Rajiv Singh 6-0, 6-0).
