Senthil and Arul shine

TIRUCHI: P. Senthilvelmurugan and J. Arul Stephen starred in the Tiruchi DCA fifth division cricket league, their six-wicket hauls helping Kavery RC and Golden Arrows CC respectively to secure victories.

The scores: First division: Golden Chariot ‘A’ 100 in 26.3 overs (K.B. Karthick four for 31) lost to Neptune 103 for two in 17.5 overs (K.B. Karthick 42).

Third division: Annanagar 158 in 44.2 overs (M. Saravanan 50, P. Gunasekaran four for 18) lost to Golden Charriot ‘B’ 161 for seven in 24.2 overs (A. Franklin Kumar 50, N. Nagarajan five for 47).

Fifth division: Mannachanallur Junior ‘B’ 58 in 18.5 overs (P. Senthilvelmurugan six for five) lost to Kavery RC 61 for two in 8.5 overs.

Seagull 107 for nine in 27 overs (J. Arul Stephen six for nine) lost to Golden Arrows 110 for eight in 19.1 overs (C. Vijay four for 18).
