According to a press release, Dr. Reddy also decided to increase the input subsidy for growing vegetables and fruits from 1.18 lakh hectares to 1.8 lakh hectares.
He asked officials to monitor the prices of vegetables on a day-to-day basis and stressed on market intervention to control them.
