European higher education fair

NEW DELHI: A two-day “European Higher Education Fair” opens at Intercontinental The Grand on Barakhamba Road here on Thursday.

Indians willing to study in Europe will be able to meet representatives of higher education institutions from there on face-to-face basis. The objective of the fair is to promote Europe as a “centre of excellence” for study and research and to provide information on study programmes, institutions and ways of life in 27 European Union member-States.

The fair will be preceded by the “European Union-India Higher Education Cooperation Symposium” on Wednesday. The European Commission expects the symposium to provide a platform for a high-level dialogue between government officials, senior managers, policy-makers and representatives of higher education institutions, academic networks and business people from India and Europe.
