VS congratulates ISRO scientists

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has congratulated the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for handling the crucial phase of Chandrayaan I and taking it to its orbit. He conveyed the message to ISRO Chairman G. Madhavan Nair over the telephone on Monday. He also wished all success for the next phase of the operations which involved guiding the space vehicle to an orbit close to the Moon. — Special Correspondent
