Probe into KCA affairs

Thrissur: Thrissur Vigilance Judge P.Q. Barkat Ali on Monday directed the Vigilance Director to investigate the alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA).

The judge issued the order on the basis of a petition filed by Balaji Iyengar, executive committee member of the Kerala Cricketers’ Forum, Rupesh Kumar and Abbas Kandathumkarayil. It raised 46 cases of corruption (between 2005 and 2008).
