VISAKHAPATNAM: The 24-hour non-stop Akhanda Bhajan performed by Sri Sathya Sai devotees at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar school premises concluded on Sunday night. The annual programme is organised every year from 6 p.m. on November 8 to 6 p.m. on the next day simultaneously in 225 countries around the world. The Akhanda Bhajan, aimed at universal peace and harmony, was inaugurated by former additional commissioner (Commercial taxes) H.L.N. Dora and Mayor P. Janardhana Rao. More than 1,000 devotees from 17 Bhajan Mandals under the aegis of Sri Sathya Sai City Samithi participated in the programme. District president G.K.P. Mukunda Rao, convener D.S.N. Murthy, and others were present.
