New Joint Commissioner of Civil Supplies

CHENNAI: Virudhunagar Collector V. Chandrasekaran, IAS, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, in place of G. Sundaramurthi, IAS, who has been transferred.

K. Raghupathi, IAS, Sub-Collector, Gobichettipalayam, Erode district, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Virudhunagar.

The services of Theni Collector Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru, IAS, have been placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation for appointment as Executive Director, in place of Kumar Jayant, IAS, who has been transferred.

The government has also declared that the role of the TIDOC Executive Director will be equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre of Director of Social Welfare as specified in Schedule III-B of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 1954.

P. Muthuveeran, IAS, Sub-Collector, Pudukottai, has been transferred and posted as Collector, Theni.
