Man arrested, pirated DVDs seized

CHENNAI: The Central Crime Branch arrested a man on charges of selling pirated DVDs. Goods worth over Rs.40 lakh, including over 5,100 DVDs, a DVD writer and a television set were seized.

Police said the accused, M. Vijayan (24) of Thiruvalluvar Nagar, New Washermenpet, had sold pirated DVDs, including latest Tamil films, in bulk.
