KOCHI: The hard-hitting Abhishek Hegde (77 off 71 balls) and Ajay Kudua (61 off 65 balls), both former State players, helped Pattara Swantons CC (Ernakulam) stun State Bank of Travancore (Thiruvananthapuram) by four wickets in the main phase opener of the 58th Maruti Homes Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Sunday. SBT, batting first, had made 245 for nine in the allotted 45 overs with Prasanth C. Menon making 84 (99 balls). The scores: SBT, Tvm 245 for nine in 45 overs (Prasanth C. Menon 84) lost to Pattara Swantons CC, Ekm 249 for six in 38.1 overs (Abhishek Hegde 77, Ajay Kuduva 61).
