New Delhi: Indian rowers claimed two gold, a silver and a bronze medal at the Asian Junior championship that concluded in Hong Kong on Sunday. The junior men’s team of Prasanth Nair, Harinath Reddy, Sanjay Kholia and Mukesh Kumar clinched the gold medal in coxless fours event. Pratima Puhana and Promila Prabha Minz clinched India’s other gold in the junior women’s coxless pairs event, the Rowing Federation of India said in a statement. The junior women’s quadruple sculls won the silver and junior men’s double sculls won the bronze. — PTI
