Special Correspondent

Guwahati: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (Metropolitan), on Saturday remanded an accused in the October 30 serial blasts — Rajjib Sainary — to police custody for 10 days.

Sainary was arrested from lower Assam’s Bagsa district on charges of providing the SIM card of a cell phone that was allegedly used by another accused Dinesh Boro for making calls relating to the blast.

Police had also picked up six persons from lower Assam’s Barpeta district for questioning in connection with the blasts.
