94 held for poll code violation

New Delhi: The Delhi police have filed 709 FIRs and arrested 94 persons for alleged violation of model code of conduct ahead of the Assembly Election scheduled for November 29 in the city.

“A total of 709 FIRs have been filed and 94 persons arrested for violation of model code of conduct since October 15,” election officials said.

They said 811 hoardings and 372 banners were removed till Friday..
