Somdev advances

New Delhi: Somdev Dev Varman beat third seed Jesse Leivne of the U.S. 7-6(5), 6-2 in the quarterfinals to reach the semifinals of the ATP Challenger tennis tournament at Nashville.

In doubles, Harsh Mankad and Ashutosh Singh beat the second-seeded pair of Ashley Fisher of Australia and Jim Thomas of the U.S. 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinals.
