BJP finalises third list of M.P.

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s central election committee has changed two candidates declared earlier and finalised the third list of 12 candidates for Madhya Pradesh.

In Guna constituency, Pannalal Sakaya is to be replaced by Gopilal Jatav while in the Ashok Nagar reserved Assembly segment, Gopilal Jatav has been asked to make way for Lattu Ram Kori.

Among the other candidates finalised late on Thursday night, Akhandpratap Singh will contest from Tikamgarh; Asha Rani from Bilawar; Alkesh Aaria from Betul and Kumansingh Sivaji from Neemuch.

In the Jhabua Scheduled Tribe reserved seat, the party is fielding sitting MLA Pavesingh Pargi.

Two other sitting MLAs given the ticket are Ramlakhan Singh from Bhind and Nana Bhau Mahod from Sausner.

In the first list of candidates, the BJP had cleared 115 names and in the second, 38 more.

Now, with this third list, the party has finalised 191 candidates.
