Talent contest for schoolchildren

CHAMARAJANAGAR: The Department of Kannada and Culture, Chamarajanagar, will organise a district-level Kalaprathibothsava for children. The talented will be selected for the State-level competition. The competitions will be held from November 1 to 3 at J.H. Patel Bhavan, district office complex, Chamarajanagar, in classical music, Carnatic and Hindustani instrumental music, folk music, drawing, light music and recitation of old Kannada kavyas. Those interested may contact Assistant Director, Department of Kannada and Culture, Chamarajanagar. Participants are requested to submit their applications before November 11.
