Narrow win for Central Zone

VISAKHAPATNAM: Central Zone scored a narrow 10-run win over South Zone in the ACA senior women’s inter-zone tournament at Kakinada on Thursday.

On Wednesday, South defeated North by 80 runs.

The scores: Central Zone 127 for nine in 50 overs (Nagamani 28 n.o., J. Rameswari three for 19) bt South Zone 117 in 43.1 overs (J. Rameswari 29, G. Neelima Devi three for 13).

On Wednesday: South Zone 194 for nine in 50 overs (N. Geeta 74) bt North Zone 114 in 48.1 overs (V. Keerthi 30).
