TN, Kerala sitting pretty

KOCHI: Tamil Nadu and Kerala opened their super league campaign with easy wins in the eighth all-India BSNL basketball tournament here on Thursday.

Tamil Nadu defeated Karnataka 96-61, while defending champion Kerala beat Orissa 86-50.

The results: Super league: Kerala 86 (Rahul Krishna 18, Bobit Mathew 18, Vijobi Vakkachan 17) bt Orissa 50 (Saroj Kumar Behra 20); Tamil Nadu 96 (R. Ramachandra 23) bt Karnataka 61.
