Bhimsen Joshi to be honoured

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Government has decided to felicitate Bhimsen Joshi who has been chosen for the Bharat Ratna. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has extended an invitation to Pandit Bhimsen Joshi to participate in a function in his honour to be held at the Banquet Hall of the Vidhana Soudha shortly, a release from the Chief Minister’s secretariat said. — Staff Reporter
