Seminar on Down’s syndrome

MYSORE: The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) will organise a seminar on “Perspectives in children with Down’s syndrome” on November 10.

Objectives

The objectives of the seminar are to discuss issues related to general awareness about children with Down’s syndrome among professionals and issues related to hearing, speech and language difficulties in children with Down’s syndrome.

The seminar will be conducted by a team of professionals working for children with Down’s syndrome from the United Kingdom, according to a press release.

The seminar is open to speech-language pathologists and audiologists, psychologists, teachers and special educators.
